Blocking a HERO (DNR)

Overview

In this article, we’ll show you how to DNR heroes and where to view historical information.

 

Block the return of a HERO

To block a HERO on the web and mobile app, follow these steps:

1. Go to a HERO profile

2. Tap or click the toggle button Don’t let HERO apply for more shifts in my community

Heroes can be unlocked by disabling this option. Additionally, they won’t be notified when they’ve been locked.

 

Select a reason for DNR

KARE actively tracks DNR reasons to help improve training opportunities while identifying important trends to improve HERO performance.

 

You can select one or more, these reasons include:

  • Attendance – No Show  
  • Assistance – Multiple Cancellations 
  • Documentation requirements not met  
  • Community policy – ​​Non-compliant 
  • List of Previous Employees – Do Not Rehire 
  • Performance standards not met  
  • HERO was hired 
  • Other – Not eligible for return

 

When blocking a HERO on both the web and mobile apps, you will be asked to specify the reason and can leave additional information in the box section:

 

Once you’re done, click the “Submit” button.

 

View history

Single-community users and enterprise users across multiple communities can view DNR history in the web app by following these steps:

1. Go to a HERO profile

2. Select the Blocked History tab

In the Block History  tab , you can filter by time and reason. You can also see which community and user blocked the HERO.
