What Are Notifications?
Notifications provide important alerts, including:
- Shift Information – Status updates and reminders about your shifts
- Messages – New and unread messages from Communities or KARE
- General Updates – Important announcements, system alerts, or account warnings
These automated alerts ensure you stay informed and never miss any key information related to your shifts or account.
How Do I Receive Notifications?
Notifications are always sent within the Heroes app. You can find a list of all your Notifications by tapping on the Notifications icon in the main app menu at the bottom of the screen. You can open each notification by tapping on it to see the full details.
Notifications are also sent to you in the following methods:
- Mobile Push
- SMS or Text
Customizing Notification Settings
To customize your notification preferences, tap the gear icon in the top right corner to access Notification Settings. From here, you can:
- Turn off all notifications if you prefer not to receive alerts.
- Customize notifications for specific licenses.
- Manage Shift Notifications to receive updates that are most important to you.
- Adjust Message Notifications to control how you are notified about messages.
